Design Open Mic allows emerging and established designers and architects to share their work with the public attending Design Like You Give a Damn: LIVE! through a Pecha Kucha-style 7-minute presentation. Open mic is ongoing throughout the day. Each presenter will be able to showcase their work, using a projector to display images and video.

There will be a judge who will decide upon the top Design Open Mic projects, which will be presented with awards at the Closing Ceremony between 5-8pm. The theme this year is Innovative, community-centered design that is both inspiring and buildable. You can see last year's winners here.
